Located on the northeast shore of Lake Erie across from Buffalo, New York, the community was originally the site of the famous Crystal Beach Amusement Park, which first opened in 1888. With patrons arriving by steamboat from nearby Buffalo, this quaint beach community quickly grew in popularity. Enjoyed as a summer destination by those in the know for over a hundred years, a new era began in 1989 with the closing of the amusement park, Crystal Beach’s most memorable landmark.

In recent years, Crystal Beach has become an enchanting mix of both residences and businesses, while maintaining its distinct beach vibe for summer enjoyment of all that this waterfront community has to offer.
